During March 2016, a new phase of large format geophysical prospection of Mikulčice-Valy settlement was conducted. Peter Milo and Tomáš Tencer, employees of the Department of Archaeology and Museology of Masaryk University in Brno, carried out magneto-metric measuring of three areas at the extra-mural settlement: two areas at the site of newly created glades at Těšický les and a wide area of meadows located north of the settlement (at the northern extra-mural settlement). The aim of the prospection is to confirm of the extent and character of the settlement of Mikulčice’s suburbium.
