The 14th season of Music Archaeology series in Mikulčice was organised in cooperation of the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Brno and Hudební lahůdky association. For many years, the organisers are trying to connect science with art, and in this way to cultivate the cultural environment of Great Moravian archaeological landscape in Mikulčice. The Spirituál Kvintet band became the star of the latest event, which took place on July 31, 2019 outside of the archaeological base in Mikulčice-Trapíkov. After 60 years of concert tours, the famous band announced the end of active performances; hence, the open-air concert in Mikulčice was one of the last options to see this legendary band live. The thunderclouds formed bizarre background and created impressive atmosphere of the whole event.
