We are pleased to invite you to Open Doors Days in Mikulčice, which are held for the 100th anniversary of the State Archaeological Institute. You can look forward to see the exhibition of photographs from old excavations, as well as for the tour of labs and depositories and the presentation of new research and excavations. There will be a special program for kids.
Music Archaeology XVI
13th October, 16:00 pm
The scientific part of the program will address the history and reflection of Moravian archaeology in connection with the 100th anniversary of the State Archaeological Institute as the first specialised archaeological scientific institution of the newly established Czechoslovak State. The musical part of the program called Tre fontane will be performed by musicians from Vienna under the guidance of prof. Michael Posch, who will present unfamiliar medieval musical works in contrast to contemporary music.
