The Archaeological Institute will also be presenting a\u00a0new book\u00a0\u2013 a\u00a0monograph by Michaela L\u00e1tkov\u00e1. The publication\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/mikulcice-valy.cz\/en\/publikace\/mikulcicke-edicni-rady\/studien-zum-burgwall-von-mikulcice-sbm\/sbm-xi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Archaeobotany of Mikul\u010dice. Food Supply to the Early Medieval Stronghold<\/a>) is dedicated to the subject of agriculture in the area of the Mikul\u010dice settlement agglomeration in the 9<sup>th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a programme for children and parents, called <strong>Garden Archaeology<\/strong>, plus a\u00a0tour of the archaeobotanical laboratory, the herb garden and a\u00a0workshop on the language of flowers.<\/p>\n<p>Date and place: 10\u00a0June 2017, 5\u00a0pm at the Research Base in Mikul\u010dice-Trap\u00edkov.
